Windows Phone 7 Update Will Out in March with Copy-Paste Function
In MWC 2011 Microsoft confirms that first major update of Windows Phone 7 will come in March 2011. And a significant number of Nokia Windows Phones is expected to arrive in 2012. They also promise many othe
r interesting updates through 2011. Like user interface Microsoft are hoping to introduce dramatically enhanced Web browser experience based on IE9 in 2011 Q2.
However, the main focus of the note was that Microsoft will give WP7 users copy and paste functionality via first major update of Windows Phone 7. It might also include a new wave of multitasking applications.
Microsoft sold 2 million phone licenses in Windows Phone 7’s first two months. There are now more than 8,000 apps in the marketplace. Windows Phone 7 is now available from 60 mobile operators in 30 countries around the world. It will be available soon on U.S. through carriers like Verizon and Sprint.
